Mission Statement:

The Michigan Graduate Consulting Club (MGCC) aims to support University of Michigan graduate students and post docs interested in pursuing careers in the consulting industry. To this end, we host different events including weekly case practice meetings, company info sessions, and soon our annual case competition. We also provide resources and personal development services that are necessary for success in consulting interviews.

3rd Annual Midwest Business Case Competition

MGCC’s 3rd annual case competition is set including final rounds and networking events on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Michigan Union. Join as teams provide their recommendations and supporting analysis to a local brewery on how to address revenue challenges. This year the panel of judges includes a brewery consultant, numerous practicing management consultants, and the client. Watch live as a winner emerges from a starting group of 20 teams enrolled while graduate students showcase analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

The Michigan Graduate Consulting Club welcomes the involvement of consulting firms to promote awareness of the consulting industry and to prepare MGCC members for the field. The MGCC partners with leading firms for workshops, networking, informational panels, and case competitions. Our weekly case prep workshops are highly attended, and we have the most diverse membership base on the University of Michigan campus, with members from all 19 colleges and schools at the university. If you are interested in becoming an MGCC corporate sponsor, or partnering with our organization for an event, please contact us for more information.
